Discover Ken Kaneki in a particularly dark and spectacular portrayal with this Grandista figurine, measuring approximately 27 cm, produced by Banpresto. This second Grandista version of the protagonist from Tokyo Ghoul depicts him following his profound transformation, with his white hair, ghoul mask and kagune spread out around him.
Kaneki strikes a surprisingly calm pose, with his legs slightly crossed and his hands open, contrasting with the imposing dark red appendages surrounding him. He wears an all-black outfit with a high collar, complemented by several harness-like elements, whilst his famous black mask with exposed teeth covers the lower half of his face. Four extensions of his rinkaku-type kagune extend behind him, giving the figure a particularly expansive and dynamic silhouette.
Made from PVC and measuring approximately 27 cm in height, this figurine is part of the Grandista range, known for its characters, which are larger than standard prize figures. It comes in a printed box and is a piece particularly well-suited to a collection dedicated to *Tokyo Ghoul* or to the various transformations of Ken Kaneki.

Ken Kaneki is the protagonist of Tokyo Ghoul, a manga created by Sui Ishida. He starts out as an ordinary student with a passion for literature. His life is turned upside down after an encounter with Rize Kamishiro, a ghoul who attempts to devour him. Seriously injured in the incident, Kaneki survives following a transplant using organs from Rize and thus becomes a hybrid, half-human and half-ghoul.
Forced to live between these two worlds, Kaneki gradually discovers ghoul society and joins the Anteiku café, where he learns to come to terms with his new nature. His ghoul eye, or kakugan, and his rinkaku kagune become the most visible physical manifestations of his transformation.
A major turning point occurs when he is captured by the Aogiri Tree and subjected to weeks of torture at the hands of Yamori. This experience triggers a profound psychological transformation in Kaneki and marks the appearance of his famous white hair. Following this event, he comes to accept his ghoul side more fully and becomes far more determined to protect those he holds dear.
The mask with exposed teeth and the extended red kagune depicted on this figurine are thus closely associated with this period in the character’s life, during which Kaneki gradually ceases to be the fragile student he was at the start of the series and becomes one of the most formidable fighters in the Tokyo Ghoul universe.
This 27 cm Grandista II Ken Kaneki figurine highlights this duality particularly well: a calm and controlled posture combined with the menacing appearance of his mask and the power of his fully deployed kagune.
