Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Inspired by the feature film Thor: Love and Thunder (2022), the character embarks on an unprecedented introspective quest following the tragic events of Avengers: Endgame. Desperate to find inner peace and get away from the battlefield, the God of Thunder sees his spiritual retreat interrupted by the emergence of a terrifying galactic threat: Gorr, the Butcher of the Gods. To protect the cosmos from this divine extinction, Thor must once again take up arms and surround himself with powerful allies such as Queen Valkyrie, his faithful stone companion Korg, and his former companion Jane Foster, who has become the Mighty Thor by wielding the fragments of the magic hammer Mjolnir.
