From the Sword Art Online series, this FuRyu figurine depicts Leafa, Suguha Kirigaya’s avatar in the ALfheim Online universe. Part of the BiCute Ribbons collection, it offers an original interpretation of the character, centred entirely around a set of green ribbons. The figurine stands approximately 23 cm tall and is made from PVC.
Leafa retains her distinctive physical features, including her long blonde hair, green eyes and pointed Sylph ears. Her outfit here consists of wide green ribbons: a large bow adorns her head, whilst other elements form her neckband, top, armbands and a draped section around her waist. A large bow at the back and green shoes complete the look.
The sculpture adopts a deliberately reserved pose: Leafa holds one hand in front of her chest and wears a slightly embarrassed expression, her cheeks flushed. Her long ponytail sweeps out widely behind her, adding movement to an otherwise rather calm pose. The BiCute Ribbons collection is distinguished precisely by its outfits centred around ribbons and bows, here adapted to the shades of green traditionally associated with Leafa.
Leafa is the avatar used by Suguha Kirigaya in the VRMMORPG ALfheim Online (ALO). In the real world, Suguha is the younger adoptive sister of Kazuto Kirigaya / Kirito. She practises kendo at a high level and has notably reached the quarter-finals of a national championship, a martial arts background that is reflected in her combat abilities within virtual worlds.
In ALfheim Online, Leafa belongs to the Sylph race, fairies associated with the wind. Her avatar therefore has pointed ears and wings, whilst her playstyle combines sword fighting, magic and great aerial manoeuvrability. Official descriptions of the franchise portray her as a versatile fighter capable of attacking as well as supporting or healing her companions.
Leafa plays a particularly important role in the Fairy Dance arc, where she meets Kirito in ALfheim Online without immediately realising who is behind his avatar. She subsequently becomes one of his regular allies and takes part in several of the series’ major adventures alongside Asuna, Sinon, Silica, Lisbeth and the other members of the group.
