SUPER MARIO - Toad Plush - 40cm

Meet Toad, one of the most recognisable inhabitants of the Mushroom Kingdom, with this large 40 cm Super Mario soft toy produced by Simba Toys under licence from Nintendo. Thanks to its generous size, this version makes quite an impression and is ideal both as a decorative piece and for a collection dedicated to characters from the Super Mario universe.

The soft toy recreates Toad’s classic appearance, characterised by his large white mushroom head adorned with red polka dots, his smiling face and his iconic outfit. Nintendo officially presents Toad as an inhabitant of the Mushroom Kingdom in the service of Princess Peach, recognisable precisely by these distinctive red motifs.

Standing 40 cm tall, this Simba Toys product is significantly larger than traditional small soft toys. It can therefore be placed on a bed, an armchair or a shelf and easily displayed alongside Mario, Luigi, Yoshi or other Nintendo characters.

Character background and lore

Toad is a resident of the Mushroom Kingdom and a loyal servant of Princess Peach. Nintendo describes him as a cheerful and loyal character, always ready to help Mario and Luigi when they need to protect the kingdom from Bowser, even when this puts him in dangerous situations himself.

Whilst the classic Toad is recognisable by his red spots, his species also comes in a variety of colours. These many Toads regularly appear in Super Mario games as inhabitants, allies, assistants or playable characters.

The character has also taken on increasingly important roles throughout the franchise. In *Super Mario 3D World*, Toad is one of the playable characters and stands out in particular for his speed, whilst *Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker* places an adventurous version of the character at the centre of his own adventure.

This 40 cm Toad soft toy thus brings one of Mario’s long-standing companions to life in a large, soft and decorative format, instantly recognisable thanks to his famous white hat with red polka dots.
