Origin and character background
In the Street Fighter universe, Akuma is the very embodiment of the absolute quest for power, even if it means rejecting all traces of humanity. A supreme master of Ansatsuken, he has embraced the destructive energy of the Satsui no Hado to surpass his brother Gouken and defeat his rivals. In Street Fighter 6, he appears older, a hermit with devastating powers, but still driven by an obsessive desire to find an opponent worthy of facing him in a fight to the death.
