Origin and world of the character
Steve Harrington is one of the main protagonists of the American science fiction and fantasy drama TV series Stranger Things, created by the Duffer brothers and broadcast on Netflix. Initially introduced in the first season as the popular, arrogant and superficial student at Hawkins High School, the character undergoes a rigorous psychological and narrative evolution over the course of the episodes. He transforms into a brave, protective and deeply devoted ally, acting as a veritable mentor and big brother to the group of young teenagers made up of Dustin, Lucas, Mike, Will and Max. Armed with his famous spiked bat, he doesn't hesitate to take on Upside Down threats like the Demogorgons to keep his friends safe.
