Origin and background of the character
Based on the cult animated feature film released by Disney Studios in 2002, Lilo & Stitch recounts the earthly adventures of Experiment 626. This blue creature, genetically modified to be indestructible and cause chaos, accidentally washes up in the middle of the Hawaiian archipelago. Taken in by Lilo, a feisty little girl, the mischievous alien learns to rein in his destructive tendencies and embraces the local philosophy of ‘Ohana’, which teaches that family is sacred and that no one should be left out. Now a global symbol of tenderness, mischief and exoticism, Stitch brings his zest for life to this “LunaGlo” lantern. The light projections evoke the gentleness and magic of tropical Hawaiian nights, perfect for enhancing your moments of relaxation outdoors.
