Add a touch of movement to your desk or collection with this Solar Pal The Original Stormtrooper figurine designed by Puckator. Standing approximately 13 cm tall, it features the Imperial soldier’s famous white armour in a stylised design, mounted on a black base incorporating a solar cell.
Thanks to its Solar Pal mechanism, the figurine comes to life automatically when it receives sufficient light. The energy captured by the solar panel on the base triggers a continuous rocking motion of the Stormtrooper, without the need for batteries or a power cable. It can therefore be placed on a desk, a shelf or near a window to make the most of its movement.
Made mainly from ABS plastic, this small decorative item measures approximately 13 × 7 × 7 cm. Puckator states that this is a decorative item and not a toy. The product is part of The Original Stormtrooper range, directly inspired by the original armour created for the first Star Wars film.

Stormtroopers are the iconic soldiers of the Galactic Empire in Star Wars. Recognisable by their full white armour and distinctive helmets, they form the military forces stationed aboard Imperial ships, on the various planets controlled by the Empire, and alongside characters such as Darth Vader.
The Stormtrooper’s now-iconic appearance originated in the first film of the saga, Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. In 1976, Andrew Ainsworth of Shepperton Design Studios helped create the actual helmets and armour used during filming, based on the designs developed for the production. The armour components were manufactured using vacuum thermoforming before being assembled for the actors.
The ‘The Original Stormtrooper’ range featured on this Puckator figurine draws directly on the legacy of the original 1976 film props. It therefore sets this product apart from a generic reproduction of the Imperial soldier by drawing on the aesthetic of the original armour from Shepperton Design Studios.
