Meet Hera Syndulla, pilot of the Ghost and founding member of the Spectres crew, with this articulated figure from Hasbro’s Star Wars: The Vintage Collection range. Standing approximately 9.5 cm (3.75 inches) tall, this figure depicts Hera in her pilot’s outfit as she appears in the animated series Star Wars Rebels.
The figure captures the character’s key visual features, including her green Twi’lek skin, her lekku, her pilot’s helmet and her orange, white and brown jumpsuit. It features the level of articulation and finish characteristic of The Vintage Collection, allowing for a variety of poses, and comes with a blaster inspired by the one used by Hera in the series.
Hera Syndulla is a Twi’lek from Ryloth and the daughter of freedom fighter Cham Syndulla. A highly experienced pilot, she travels the galaxy at the helm of the Ghost, accompanied in particular by her astromech droid C1-10P, nicknamed Chopper. She gradually gathers Kanan Jarrus, Sabine Wren, Garazeb ‘Zeb’ Orrelios and Ezra Bridger around her, forming the crew that will become one of the rebel cells active against the Empire.
Within this group, Hera goes by the call sign Spectre-2. She serves both as captain of the Ghost and as the crew’s leader, organising numerous operations to aid threatened populations and fight the Empire.
Her experience, her skills as a pilot and her dedication subsequently led her to take on increasing responsibilities within the Rebel Alliance. Hera thus becomes one of the key figures in the period leading up to the original Star Wars trilogy, whilst remaining closely associated with the Ghost and the family she has built around her crew.
