This vinyl figure represents the brilliant Lieutenant Commander Geordi La Forge, the chief engineer of the USS Enterprise-D and a key character in the cult science fiction television series Star Trek:The Next Generation.
The model adopts the graphic and stylistic proportions characteristic of the Funko POP! range, combining an oversized head with a reduced body. The collectible statuette faithfully reproduces the character's most inseparable attribute: his famous silver and gold VISOR device. This unique technological device completely covers his eyes, enabling him to compensate for the blindness he was born with by perceiving the electromagnetic spectrum. The figure proudly wears his official yellow and black Starfleet uniform, corresponding to the Department of Operations and Engineering, with his communications badge on his chest. The figure adopts a fixed, stable posture for display on a flat surface.
Designed primarily for display on a shelf, on a desk or in a window, this collector's item comes in its original cardboard window box to keep this brilliant officer dust-free.

Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Born blind in the year 2335, Geordi La Forge overcame his handicap from an early age thanks to the Federation's technological advances, in particular the use of a VISOR (Visual Aid Organ-Instrument Network) which transmitted complex visual signals ranging from infrared to ultraviolet. After brilliant studies at Starfleet Academy, he joined the crew of the USS Enterprise-D under the command of Captain Jean-Luc Picard. Initially the ship's pilot, his exceptional technical skills and logical thinking quickly earned him the strategic position of Chief Engineer. Bound by a deep and unshakeable friendship with the android Data, whom he helps to understand humanity, Geordi is the technical heart of the crew, capable of solving the most complex space anomalies to save his ship.
