Origin and character background (Lore)

Cam, also known as Cameron the Cat, is one of the original Squishmallows characters. This cat, recognisable by his predominantly white coat, brown and black spots and smiling expression, was one of the first characters to help popularise the range.

Squishmallows is a range of soft toys known for their rounded shapes, exceptionally soft feel and the wide variety of creatures on offer. Each character has its own name, appearance and little personality.

Cam has become one of the brand’s most iconic characters and now features on a wide range of merchandise, from home accessories to decorative items and kitchen appliances.

This waffle maker directly translates his design into a functional appliance: the casing is modelled on the character, and the baking plate ensures his face is clearly visible on the waffles as they come out of the machine.
