SANRIO - Nyammy Treats Sanrio Cafe Series - Display 6 Fig.

Mighty Jaxx combines the world of Sanrio with the delicious creations of Nyammy Treats in the Sanrio Cafe Series. This collection of blind box figurines features little Nyammy cats who have enjoyed the treats at the Hello Kitty and Friends Café so much that they’ve taken on its appearance, accompanied for the occasion by iconic Sanrio characters.

The series features Hello Kitty, My Melody, Pochacco, Pompompurin, Kuromi and Cinnamoroll. The figurines are inspired by desserts and pastries such as soufflé pancakes, glazed doughnuts, puddings, cinnamon rolls, Swiss rolls and ice-cream scoops. Among the creations on display are Hello Kitty with the Sprinkled Dough-Nyan and My Melody with the Strawberry Swirl Nyan-Cake. A rare Chase variant of Kuromi can also replace one of the standard models.

The design combines the rounded silhouettes of the Nyammy Treats with the characteristic colours and accessories of the Sanrio characters. The glossy finishes, pastry-inspired textures and moulded details enhance the indulgent look of each figurine whilst retaining an instantly recognisable identity.

The product is packaged as a display containing 6 Blind Boxes. A full tray contains six unique models from the standard range, whilst the inclusion of the rare variant is not guaranteed. The figurines measure approximately 10 cm and are suitable for both a Sanrio collection and decorative display.

Origin and backstory of the characters (Lore)

Sanrio is the creator of a vast universe of characters, of which Hello Kitty is one of the most iconic. Created in 1974, Hello Kitty quickly became an international icon of the kawaii style. Over the decades, she has been joined by numerous characters, each with their own distinct personalities and backstories.

My Melody is recognisable by her distinctive hood and gentle nature, whilst Kuromi stands out for her more mischievous appearance and her black beanie adorned with a skull. Cinnamoroll is a small white dog with long ears who can fly; Pompompurin is a golden retriever who loves to relax and enjoy treats; and Pochacco is a sporty and curious dog. Together, these characters occupy a central place in Sanrio’s modern universe.

Nyammy Treats, for its part, has developed a concept centred on little cats transformed into food and desserts. The Sanrio Café Series directly merges these two worlds: the food-loving cats take the form of coffee specialities, whilst Hello Kitty and her friends complete each creation. This approach gives the collection an identity that is at once kawaii, gourmet and decorative, particularly well-suited to the world of the Hello Kitty and Friends Café.
