Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Introduced in 2015 by Dan Jurgens in the pages of Convergence: Superman, Jonathan Samuel Kent (Jon Kent) is the son of Clark Kent and Lois Lane. A direct descendant of the hybrid Terran-Kryptonian physiology, he develops superpowers equivalent to those of his father from an early age. Officially taking over the mantle and title of Superman when Clark leaves Earth, Jon is known for his modern and committed approach to justice, particularly in relation to climate change and human rights. In 2021, the series Superman: Son of Kal-El made comic-book history by revealing his bisexuality. This figurine from the Funko Pride collection celebrates his status as a contemporary symbol, honouring diversity, inclusion and the evolution of heroism within pop culture.
