Take a trip down memory lane through the history of office technology with the 1980 Typewriter construction set from the Pop Series collection by Madnesstoys. This scale model pays a captivating visual tribute to the famous portable typewriters that were a staple of offices and workspaces in the late 20th century, combining a vibrant pop-yellow casing, a detailed mechanical keyboard and a meticulously crafted dummy roller system.
The assembly experience is particularly rewarding thanks to the wealth of detail packed into such a compact format. The kit faithfully reproduces the geometry of the central character bars, the two black ink ribbon spools and a full keyboard with circular black and white keys, enhanced by a large red carriage return button. The model features a thin plate at the top imitating a sheet of inserted paper, displaying a historical text on the revolution in typewriting. Composed of perfectly stable precision bricks, this unusual object stands out as a warm and original decorative piece.
