POP 250 - POP Rocks - Britney Spears

BRITNEY SPEARS – POP! 250 – Funko figurine

Celebrate one of pop music’s greatest icons with this POP! 250 – Britney Spears from Funko. This special edition is part of the POP! 250 commemorative collection and features a particularly glossy finish dubbed ‘Starlight Deco’ by Funko. The figurine measures approximately 10.2 cm and features the signature proportions of the POP! range.

Britney Spears is depicted in a sparkling red jumpsuit, with her hands clasped in front of her and dark shoes. Her hair also features a glittery finish with multicoloured highlights. The glossy finish covers several parts of the figurine and is the defining feature of this special edition.

The packaging also differs from a traditional POP! Rocks figure: the box features black, white and gold decoration, with a large POP! 250 logo on the top. Funko officially describes this version as a commemorative figure with a glossy, glittery finish.

Background and career – Britney Spears

Britney Spears made her mark on the international pop scene in the late 1990s. Her debut single, ‘…Baby One More Time’, was released in September 1998 and quickly became a massive hit. Her self-titled debut album was released in 1999 and helped establish her as one of the leading figures of the new generation of pop artists of that era.

Her career went on to include numerous tracks that have become iconic, including “Oops!... I Did It Again’, ‘Toxic’, ‘Stronger’ and ‘Womanizer’. Britney Spears has received eight Grammy Award nominations and, in 2005, won the Grammy for Best Dance Performance for ‘Toxic’.
