Origin and characteristics of the Pokémon (Lore)
Originally from the Kanto region, Feunard is the direct evolution of Goupix when exposed to the rays of a Fire Stone. This quadruped Pokémon is directly inspired by Kitsune, the nine-tailed fox from Japanese legends and folklore. Renowned for its great intelligence and tenacious grudge, stories in the Pokédex tell us that each of its tails contains a unique and mystical magical power. Capable of spitting fiery flames and hypnotising its opponents, legend also claims that Feunard can live for up to a thousand years, and that catching one of its tails without its consent can curse the guilty party for a thousand years.
