Background: The many facets of Ash’s companion
Since its debut in 1996 in the Red and Blue versions on Game Boy, Pikachu has established itself as the global icon of the Nintendo franchise. Usually known for his infectious cheerfulness and unwavering loyalty, the famous Electric-type rodent is depicted here in one of his rare moments of sulking. This grumpy expression recalls his well-known temper tantrums in the animated series, particularly during his tumultuous early encounters with his trainer. It’s the perfect addition to diversify your Kanto team and enhance your POP! Games collection.
