Origin and background of the character
First introduced in the first generation of video games with the original Pokémon Red and Blue versions, Magmar is a Fire-type wild Pokémon that usually lives near the craters of active volcanoes. Its body generates such intense heat that its skin resembles waves of molten magma, enabling it to breathe fiery flames to incinerate its opponents. When wounded in battle, it submerges itself entirely in molten lava to heal its wounds and regain its strength. This figurine faithfully reproduces its unique design, notably its flaming head, distinctive beak and the bumpy texture of its forehead, making it an essential addition to any collection aiming to recreate the Kanto region’s Pokédex.
