Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Illegally created as a result of genetic experiments carried out by the mad scientist Jumba Jookiba,Experiment 626 escapes from its space cell and crash-lands on the island of Hawaii. Initially motivated by a pure instinct for destruction, this hyper-intelligent little being of colossal strength is adopted by an orphaned girl called Lilo, who mistakes him for a dog and names him Stitch. By learning local customs and integrating the Hawaiian concept ofOhana - which teaches that family means that no one should be abandoned or forgotten - the rambunctious alien learns to open his heart. This miniature version captures all the tenderness and joie de vivre of this character inseparable from modern pop culture.
