Toy Story is an animated film series created by Pixar and released in cinemas in 1995. The first film marked a major milestone in the history of animation as it was the first feature-length film to be entirely computer-generated.
The story mainly follows Woody, a toy cowboy, and Buzz Lightyear, a space ranger action figure, who gradually learn to overcome their rivalry and become friends. They are joined by many other toys, such as Jessie, Rex, Mr Potato Head and Bayonne.
One of the central themes of the saga is the relationship between the toys and their owners, with stories centred on friendship, coming of age and the fear of being forgotten.
This checkers game brings this world to life in a more interactive format, combining the iconic characters from Toy Story with a timeless strategy game.
