Create a real miniature street with this Pantasy Bank, an imposing modular building comprising 2,634 pieces. Listed under reference number 85038, this set recreates a three-storey city-centre bank, with a monumental façade featuring white columns, large arched windows, orange-brown bricks and gold-coloured ornamentation. The ‘BANK’ sign above the entrance completes its architecture, inspired by European and American banks of the early 20th century.
The interior is fully furnished. The ground floor features, in particular, a cash machine, a reception area, counter windows and a VIP lounge. One floor is dedicated to the bank president’s office, complete with a desk, computer and banker’s lamp, whilst the top floor houses the security room and the vault. The large circular vault door features a working mechanism operated by a wheel and protects various items representing banknotes, coins, ingots and precious objects.
The modular design allows the different storeys to be separated for easy access to the interior scenes. Four Pantasy characters also accompany the building: President William, employee Evelyn, security guard Edward and Victor, a thief posing as a customer. Once assembled, the bank measures approximately 26.3 × 25.5 × 37.7 cm and is a substantial model suitable for both building and display as part of a street of modular buildings.
The design of this bank is inspired by the grand urban financial institutions of the early 20th century, whose architecture was intended to convey a sense of stability and prestige. The tall columns, the symmetrical composition of the façade, the arched windows and the pediment ornamentation reflect several stylistic elements drawn from classical and neoclassical architecture, which was frequently used for banks and other institutional buildings.
Pantasy transposes this aesthetic into a fully fitted-out modular building, designed to be combined with other urban structures bearing the brand’s name. The contrast between the institutional façade and the numerous interior scenes – counter transactions, the executive office, security monitoring and an attempted burglary – thus transforms the bank into a veritable miniature narrative diorama, whilst retaining the proportions of an architectural model intended for exhibition.
