Origin and background of the character
Roronoa Zoro (nicknamed ‘the Pirate Hunter’) is the first companion to have joined Monkey D. Luffy in the Straw Hat Crew in the monumental work One Piece, the legendary shōnen manga created by Eiichiro Oda in 1997. A former master bounty hunter, he pursues the ambitious goal of becoming the world’s greatest swordsman by training relentlessly to surpass the legendary Dracule Mihawk. Zoro is distinguished by his unique fighting style, the Santoryu (three-sword style), which involves wielding two blades in his hands and a third firmly clamped between his teeth. Banpresto’s “Figure Life” collection draws on all its expertise to reproduce with surgical precision the expressive features of his face, his famous scar over his left eye, his three gold earrings and the meticulous texture of his traditional combat outfit, establishing itself as an essential piece to enhance your display.
