Origin and character background
Saint Jaygarcia Saturn is one of the prominent members of the Council of Five Elders (The Gorosei), the highest-ranking Celestial Dragons who secretly rule the world under the tutelage of the enigmatic Im, at the heart of the monumental One Piece series created by Eiichiro Oda in 1997. Holding the title of God of Science and Defence, he intervenes directly on the futuristic island of Egghead to oversee the elimination of Dr Vegapunk and regain control of the Pacifistas and Seraphins. Saturn is distinguished by his terrifying awakened transformation inspired by Japanese folklore (Ushi-Oni), boasting a gigantic spider-crab body topped with a horned human torso, wrapped in a scarf of black flames symbolising his occult power and near-immortality. Banpresto’s “Mega WCF” collection captures all the malevolent aura and intricate details of this colossal form in a stylised 13 cm format, offering enthusiasts the perfect centrepiece to crown a collection dedicated to this major story arc.
