Origin and background of the character
Red-Haired Shanks is one of the most influential, respected and charismatic characters in the One Piece pirate saga, created by the brilliant mangaka Eiichiro Oda. A former member of the crew of the Pirate King Gol D. Roger, he later founded the Red-Haired Pirates and quickly rose to the rank of Emperor of the New World. As Monkey D. Luffy’s spiritual mentor, it was he who entrusted him with his precious straw hat and instilled in him the desire to set sail. A legendary master of Haki, his mere presence and tactical intelligence were enough to halt the terrible war at the summit of Marineford.
This 22 cm figurine from the "Grandista" collection brilliantly captures all the laid-back class and aura of this legendary pirate. The sculpt meticulously highlights his famous flowing black cloak, his distinctive red hair, the three scars above his left eye, and his Gryphon sword strapped to his waist. The meticulous paintwork on the PVC perfectly captures his confident and serene gaze, making this figurine an essential iconic piece for any collector of the saga.
