Character background and lore
Sanji, nicknamed ‘Sanji the Black Leg’, is the official cook of the Straw Hat Crew in the legendary One Piece manga and anime series created by Eiichiro Oda. Recognisable by his constant elegance and his absolute refusal to use his hands in combat – so as to preserve his culinary skills – he masters a unique martial art based exclusively on the destructive power of his legs, even going so far as to set his feet alight using the Devil Leg technique.
