Character background and lore
Tony Tony Chopper is the official doctor of the Straw Hat Crew in the legendary One Piece manga and anime series created by Eiichiro Oda. He is a blue-nosed reindeer who ate the Hito Hito no Mi (the Human-Human Fruit), granting him human intelligence as well as the ability to transform into various hybrid forms suited to combat or medical research. As the inventor of the Rumble Ball, he can push the limits of his Devil Fruit. Despite his ridiculously low bounty – due to the Marines mistaking him for the crew’s pet – Chopper is a dedicated doctor and a brave fighter.
