Origin and character background
In the epic One Piece saga, Eustass ‘Captain’ Kid is the ruthless leader of the Kid Pirates and one of the major figures of the Worst Generation. Known for his violence and boundless pride, he possesses magnetism thanks to the Jiki Jiki no Mi Devil Fruit, which allows him to attract and repel metals to fashion gigantic robotic limbs. During the war in the Land of Wano, cornered by Empress Big Mom, Kid pushes his limits and utilisesthe Awakening of his powers. This major evolution allows him to transfer magnetic properties directly to other bodies or his targets. By turning his opponent into a giant magnet, he can hurl tonnes of metal beams at them or assemble his ultimate weapon, the Damned Punk electromagnetic cannon, marking one of the most memorable battles in the New World.
