Origin and background of the character
Nico Robin, also known by the sinister pseudonym ‘The Devil’s Child’, is the official archaeologist of the Straw Hat Crew at the heart of the monumental work One Piece, the legendary Shonen manga created by Eiichiro Oda in 1997. The sole survivor of the terrible massacre on the scholarly island of Ohara, she possesses the unique and universally sought-after ability to decipher the Poneglyphs, ancient stone steles essential for locating the legendary treasure and unravelling the secrets of the Forgotten Century. Having eaten the Flower-Flower Fruit (Hana Hana no Mi), a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit, she possesses the ability to make perfect replicas of any part of her body bloom on any surface within her reach. Banpresto’s “The Shukko” collection stands out for its meticulous depiction of the franchise’s heroes wearing long ceremonial robes or formal attire associated with setting sail. This figurine meticulously captures the harmonious curves of her silhouette, the delicacy of her features and the flowing drapes of her costume, establishing itself as a must-have piece for all fans of the saga.
