Banpresto Ichibansho Figurine — One Piece — Monkey D. Luffy Gear 5 (Ex Devils Vol. 3) 22cm
This exceptional figurine from the prestigious Ichibansho range (Ex Devils Vol. 3 collection) by leading manufacturer Banpresto depicts the captain of the Straw Hat crew in his most legendary and extravagant Gear 5 form: Monkey D. Luffy Gear 5.
The figurine stands approximately 22 cm tall, a premium size that gives the piece a superb visual presence and a finish far superior to standard models. The distinctive design of the “Ex Devils” series captures the character’s divine essence and purely cartoonish appearance, frozen in a dynamic, leaping combat pose. The high-quality plastic sculpture pays meticulous attention to Luffy’s altered physical features, notably his white hair and eyebrows shaped like moving flames, his broad, mischievous smile, and the ethereal, magical halo of smoke that flows fluidly around his shoulders. The application of paint and gradients of pure white highlights the luminous, liberating aura of this historic transformation.
This officially licensed collectable is primarily aimed at admirers of Eiichiro Oda’s masterful work, fans of the Wano Country arc, and discerning collectors of the Ichibansho range. The item is supplied mounted on its dedicated display stand inside an illustrated cardboard box featuring the series’ colours.

Character background and lore
In the lore of the One Piece saga, Gear 5 represents the ultimate awakening of Monkey D. Luffy’s Devil Fruit, revealing his true theological nature, which had been concealed by the World Government for eight centuries: the Human Fruit, in the form of the Sun God Nika. This legendary transformation manifests during his life-or-death battle against Emperor Kaidou on the roof of the Onigashima dome in the Land of Wano. As his heartbeat takes on a sacred musical rhythm known as the ‘Drums of Liberation’, Luffy awakens as the Warrior of Liberation. This state grants him a rubber body endowed with absolute and boundless physical freedom, allowing him to alter reality, the laws of physics and his surroundings according to his pure imagination, fighting whilst laughing heartily to bring joy and break the chains of oppression across the world.
