ONE PIECE - Luffy- Hooded Sweat (XL)

Cotton Division pays tribute to Monkey D. Luffy with this official One Piece hoodie. Entirely black, the garment features a relatively understated design on the front, before revealing a large graphic design dedicated to the captain of the Straw Hat crew on the back. BEM’S confirms that Cotton Division is the manufacturer of this item, under the official One Piece licence.

On the chest, a small red, white and black motif features the Straw Hat Crew’s Jolly Roger, accompanied by the words ‘Straw Hat Crew’ and ‘One Piece’. The hoodie also features a drawstring hood and a large kangaroo pocket at the front.

The back features the main design. The name ‘LUFFY’ appears several times in the background, with a particularly prominent red inscription at the forefront. A monochrome portrait of Monkey D. Character background and lore

Monkey D. Luffy is the protagonist of One Piece, a manga created by Eiichiro Oda and published since 1997. Ever since he was a child, Luffy has dreamt of setting sail, discovering the legendary One Piece treasure and becoming the Pirate King. To this end, he founded his own crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, whose flag is featured on this sweatshirt.

His famous straw hat is inextricably linked to his dream. It was given to him as a child by Shanks the Red, a pirate who profoundly influenced his thirst for adventure. Luffy then vowed to become a great pirate before setting sail himself and gradually assembling his crew.

Luffy also possesses a body with extraordinary abilities after eating a Devil Fruit as a child. This ability allows him, in particular, to stretch and contort his body during battles, whilst also causing him to lose the ability to swim. Despite the dangers he faces, he stands out above all for his optimism, his determination and his absolute loyalty to his companions.
