Kaido, also known by the nickname ‘Kaido of the Hundred Beasts’, is one of the most powerful pirates encountered by Monkey D. Luffy. As leader of the Hundred Beasts Pirates, he ruled the land of Wano for a long time alongside the shogun Kurozumi Orochi.
His reputation rests above all on his extraordinary physical resilience and phenomenal combat prowess. Kaido is notably wields a gigantic mace, a weapon that has become an integral part of his appearance and is prominently featured in this Battle Record Collection Extra figurine.
Thanks to the powers of his Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit, Kaido can take the form of a gigantic oriental dragon, as well as a hybrid form combining his human and dragon-like attributes. His confrontation with Luffy is one of the great battles of the Wano arc.
Behind his brute strength, Kaido also harbours a fascination for fighters capable of putting up a genuine fight against him. His role at the head of the alliance opposing Wano and his status as one of the greatest pirate powers make him one of the major antagonists of this era of One Piece.
This Battle Record Collection Extra figurine specifically highlights this warrior aspect of the character, depicting Kaido armed with his club and ready to strike, in a composition particularly suited to an action-oriented display.
