Origin and background of the character
Brogy, known as the ‘Red Shark’, is one of the two legendary captains of the Giants’ Crew from Elbaf Island in the monumental work One Piece, the shōnen manga created by Eiichiro Oda in 1997. After leading a fearsome fleet across the world’s oceans, he engaged in a centuries-old duel of honour against his brother-in-arms, Dorry the Blue Cyclops, on the prehistoric island of Little Garden—a clash that has lasted over a century without ever producing a winner. Armed with his giant axe and endowed with extraordinary physical resilience, he fervently embodies the values of courage and pride of Elbaf’s warrior culture. Banpresto’s “Senkozekkei” collection is particularly renowned for capturing the fury and choreography of the franchise’s greatest duels through ultra-dynamic and detailed sculptures. This figurine meticulously captures the details of his red beard, his Viking warrior’s helmet and the imposing musculature of his body, establishing itself as a must-have piece for all fans of the saga.
