Zero is the ghostly dog of Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town in The Nightmare Before Christmas. With his ghostly white body, long ears and glowing nose, he faithfully accompanies Jack on his adventures. Disney portrays him as the main character’s ghostly and loyal companion, capable in particular of using the light from his nose to guide his master.
When Jack discovers Christmas Town and decides to organise his own version of Christmas, Zero remains by his side throughout this attempt to bring together two very different worlds.
