Character background and lore
In the simulation game Needy Streamer Overload, Ame-chan is a shy and emotionally dependent young girl who harbours an obsessive desire for recognition on the internet. Under the guidance of her partner and manager "P-Chan" (played by the player), she transforms every evening into OMGkawaiiAngel (KAngel), an ultra-popular, radiant and energetic cyber-idol. Through her livestreams, she attempts to reach one million subscribers in a month. The game cynically explores the flip side of digital fame, juggling between Ame-chan’s fragile mental health behind the scenes and her glittering alter ego in the spotlight of social media.
