Origin and background of the character
The character of Jiraiya comes from the famous shonen manga *Naruto*, written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto, which was later adapted into the hit animated series *Naruto Shippuden*. The plot follows the journey of Naruto Uzumaki, a mischievous young ninja rejected by his own people who aspires to become the leader of his village, the Hokage. Jiraiya is one of a trio of supremely powerful warriors trained by the Third Hokage, known throughout the world as the Legendary Sannin. Nicknamed the Toad Hermit due to his summoning techniques, he takes the young Naruto under his wing to pass on his knowledge and values.
This vinyl figurine perfectly captures his classic appearance, depicting him with his long, spiky white hair, his traditional travelling outfit and his distinctive facial markings, ready to bring a touch of nostalgia and manga action to collectors’ shelves.
