Character background and lore

Kabuto Yakushi is a ninja medic whose story is closely linked to that of Orochimaru. Initially portrayed as a discreet and particularly intelligent spy, he gradually reveals himself to be a far more dangerous figure than he first appears.

Thanks to his exceptional knowledge of medicine and forbidden techniques, Kabuto develops abilities capable of rivalling some of the most powerful ninjas of his time. Following Orochimaru’s disappearance, he seeks to surpass his former master by incorporating various cells and powers into his own body.

During the Fourth Great Ninja War, Kabuto plays a major role by using the Edo Tensei reincarnation technique, which enables him to bring back numerous ninjas who have died on the battlefield. This mastery makes him one of the Shinobi Alliance’s principal adversaries.

His physical and mental evolution, his obsession with identity and his incredible mastery of medical ninjutsu make Kabuto Yakushi one of the most unique antagonists in Naruto Shippuden. The Vibration Stars range showcases this combative side of the character particularly well.
