The history and lore of the object

Nicknamed 'The Hermit of the Toads' (Gama Sennin), Jiraiya is one of the three Legendary Sannin of Konoha trained by the Third Hokage. A great traveller, novelist in his spare time and undisputed master of the art of summoning, he is above all the mentor who has shaped the greatest heroes of the ninja world, notably Minato Namikaze, Nagato and Naruto Uzumaki. Behind his frivolous attitude and comical obsession with pretty women lies an elite shinobi with a big heart, determined to find the child of prophecy who will bring lasting peace to the world.

This figure showcases the emblematic stance and innate confidence of this great master, enhanced by the meticulous finishes for which Banpresto is renowned. It faithfully reproduces his iconic long spiky white hair, the red lines on his face, the large invocation scroll on his back and the drapery of his traditional garb. A striking snapshot that testifies to her quiet strength and crucial importance in the history of the saga.
