Narrative context and universe (Lore)
In theNaruto universe, Kakashi Hatake is the leader of Team 7 and an elite ninja renowned for his ability to copy his opponents’ techniques using the Sharingan. Outside of intense combat scenes, the character is frequently depicted in a relaxed manner, absorbed in reading the novels of theIcha Ichaseries (The Paradise of Frivolity), written by the legendary ninja Jiraiya.
This figurine is part of theNaruto 72 Series project, which brings to life the cover and chapter illustrations created by Masashi Kishimoto throughout the 72 volumes of the manga. Kakashi’s pose, combining large scrolls of techniques with his daily leisure reading, embodies the contrast between his status as a formidable ninja and his calm, phlegmatic temperament during his students’ training sessions.
