Meet Shoto Todoroki, one of Yuei’s most powerful students in My Hero Academia, with this Banpresto figurine from the Grandista collection. Standing approximately 21 cm tall, it depicts the young hero in a dynamic fighting pose that highlights his calm and determined demeanour.
The sculpt captures Todoroki’s signature features: his two-tone white and red hair, the red mark around his left eye, and his blue hero suit adorned with white stripes, a light-coloured belt and equipment attached at the hips. The character strikes a low, stable stance, with one fist clenched whilst his other hand is stretched forward, as if he were about to use his Alter.
A translucent light-blue ice effect placed near his foot directly evokes the icy aspect of his ‘Ice and Fire’ power. Made from PVC, this figurine features the large scale characteristic of the Grandista range, which prioritises imposing sculptures and a strong visual presence for display.

Shoto Todoroki is a pupil in Class 1-A of the Hero Course at Yuei High School, which he joined on recommendation. Regarded as particularly gifted both intellectually and physically, he possesses the ‘Half-Cold Half-Hot’ Alter: the right side of his body allows him to produce ice, whilst his left side generates powerful flames.
Shoto is the son of the professional hero Endeavour. From an early age, Endeavour subjected him to extremely rigorous training in the hope of turning him into a hero capable of surpassing All Might, causing deep tensions within the Todoroki family. This backstory largely explains the difficult relationship Shoto initially has with his fire power and with his father.
Throughout his time at Yuei, Shoto gradually learns to accept both his powers as his own and develops techniques that combine their opposing properties. The family conflict takes on an even greater significance when he discovers that the villain Dabi is in fact Toya Todoroki, his elder brother whom he believed to be dead. During the final showdown, Shoto finds himself facing Toya head-on and develops, in particular, the ‘Phosphor’ technique, designed to harness both the cold and the heat of his Alter simultaneously.
This Grandista figure precisely highlights this characteristic duality of the character, combining his combat stance with an icy effect reminiscent of one of the two facets of his powerful Alter.
