Origin and character background
Bakudog is the official, comical animal version of Katsuki Bakugo, one of the main protagonists and Deku’s eternal rival in the global phenomenon My Hero Academia, created by manga artist Kohei Horikoshi. Known for his Explosion Quirk, his volcanic temper, his furious shouts and his oversized ego, Bakugo is here reimagined as a comical little guard dog. This anthropomorphic transformation retains the very essence of the hero, transposing his rebellious attitude and characteristic expressions into the body of a miniature pet.
This 6 cm figurine from the "Fluffy Puffy" collection perfectly captures the hilarious contrast between the character’s fury and the design’s comforting appearance. The sculpture meticulously highlights his ultra-determined glare, his small bared fangs, as well as his ears and fur, which echo the spiky style of Katsuki’s blonde hair. It is an absolute must-have for any collector wishing to add a touch of originality, charm and offbeat humour to their display dedicated to the Superhero Academy.
