MY HERO ACADEMIA - All Might - Figure A Story of Reaching Out 28cm

From My Hero Academia, this Banpresto figurine depicts All Might / Toshinori Yagi in his Armoured All Might form, as he returns to battle despite the loss of his Alter. It is part of the Ichibansho MASTERLISE – A Story of Reaching Out Forever collection and stands approximately 28 cm tall. This imposing interpretation thus celebrates one of the character’s latest major developments.

All Might is depicted here wearing spectacular black high-tech armour, comprising numerous mechanical plates covering his torso, shoulders and legs. Gold accents appear on several parts of the armour, whilst a light blue pattern runs across his chest. The black and gold helmet incorporates some of the visual elements of his heroic appearance, notably his hairline and his famous stylised smile.

The sculpture places particular emphasis on the mass and mechanical complexity of the exoskeleton: overlapping armour panels, articulated reinforcements, limb protection and variations in texture across the metallic surfaces. His upright and sturdy posture evokes an All Might transformed into a veritable technological bulwark, capable of resuming the fight despite the absence of One For All. The MASTERLISE finish allows these details to be reproduced on a large scale suitable for display.

Fully pre-painted and non-articulated, this figurine is made from PVC and ABS, in line with the range’s product specifications. It can be displayed on its own or alongside other characters from the ‘A Story of Reaching Out Forever’ collection, notably Izuku Midoriya and the other figures associated with the story’s conclusion.

Character background and lore

Toshinori Yagi, known as the hero All Might, has long been the Symbol of Peace and held the position of number one hero. As the bearer of One For All, he chooses Izuku Midoriya as his successor and gradually passes on his power to him. Having exhausted the last reserves of his Alter during his battle against All For One, Toshinori is forced to retire as an active hero.

During the final battle, however, All Might refuses to remain a mere spectator. Now without an Alter, he dons a mechanical armour specially designed to enable him to return to battle. Bandai Namco officially describes this version as an All Might without a Quirk but using a Support Item that replicates various abilities inspired by the pupils of Class 1-A.

The exoskeleton thus enables him to use a range of functions reminiscent of the Alters and techniques of his former pupils. This strategy also carries significant symbolic weight: once the bearer of a power passed down through the generations, All Might now fights by relying on technologies directly inspired by the young heroes he helped to train.

This Extra Armoured All Might figurine accurately recreates this later incarnation of the character. The imposing black armour is therefore not merely an aesthetic variation: it embodies Toshinori Yagi’s return to battle now that he no longer possesses One For All, and extends one of the central themes of My Hero Academia: heroism does not depend solely on the possession of a power.
