Origin and world of the character
Baby Kermit is a children's version of Kermit the Frog, the central character in the Muppet Show created by Jim Henson. This specific version comes from the animated TV series The Muppet Babies, originally broadcast in the 1980s and reinvented in 3D animation in 2018. The story takes place in a large nursery run by a mother figure called Nanny (Miss Nanny). Accompanied by his playmates like Baby Piggy, Baby Fozzie and Baby Gonzo, young Kermit uses his active imagination to transform his everyday playroom into fantastic adventures and explore different imaginary worlds. The line of Funko Pop! figurines captures this childlike aesthetic in a stylised, geometric design tailored to the collection.
