Origin and character background
Kitana is one of the most iconic characters in the Mortal Kombat universe, the famous fighting game franchise developed by Midway and later NetherRealm Studios. This figurine is specifically inspired by her cinematic appearance in the 2025 film. A princess from Edenia, a kingdom conquered and merged with the Netherrealm, Kitana is several millennia old yet retains the appearance of a young woman. Long manipulated by the tyrant Shao Kahn, who raised her as his own daughter and trained her as an elite assassin, she eventually discovers the truth about her true origins and the murder of her biological father. Wielding her famous razor-sharp steel fans with deadly grace, she chose to rebel against the Otherworld. She joined forces with the champions of the Earth Realm to break the tyranny and defend justice during the ultimate tournament.
