Discover BUSTER DOLL PALADIN, the fourth model in the BUSTER DOLL series to feature Kotobukiya’s new Machineca Block2-M articulated body. Standing approximately 17.6 cm tall when assembled, this 1/1 scale model combines a bishōjo-style figure with imposing mechanical armour inspired by the imagery of paladins.
The model is based on the Machineca Block2-M structure designed by Masaki Apsy. This architecture has been completely redesigned to make assembly easier, improve proportions and offer greater scope for customisation. The BUSTER DOLL PALADIN’s armour features a multi-layered construction incorporating numerous axes, joints and connection points, allowing its equipment to be modified or expanded.
The kit can be configured in Armed Mode with its full armour or in Unarmed Mode for a lighter look. Costume parts inspired by a blazer-style uniform are also included, along with chest and waist components to assemble a basic version without mechanical equipment. Three pre-painted faces are included, accompanied by blank face plates for customisation.
The three types of hands are made from rigid plastic. The hands designed for weapons are compatible with both round and square grips. A new display stand ensures greater stability, whilst the standard 3 mm connectors allow for the use of numerous accessories from the M.S.G, Frame Arms, Frame Arms Girl, Hexa Gear, Sousai Shojo Teien and Arcanadea ranges.
This re-release retains the character design by Parsley, the concept devised by Toriwo Toriyama and the mechanical design by Task. The kit comprises between 201 and 400 parts according to Kotobukiya’s official classification and is primarily made from PS, ABS and POM.

Origin and background of the model
Megami Device is an original range from Kotobukiya based on the concept of a futuristic combat hobby. In this universe, small autonomous humanoid robots called Megami can be assembled, customised and equipped with various weapons before being used in simulated battles. The range thus combines bishōjo-style characters with fully modular mechanical equipment.
Each Megami uses an articulated body called Machineca, developed by Masaki Apsy, whilst various illustrators and designers create the unique appearance and equipment for each model. The kits are moulded in a range of colours and feature faces pre-printed using pad printing, which ensures a detailed finish straight out of the box without the need for painting.
BUSTER DOLL PALADIN is the fourth model developed based on the Machineca Block2-M generation. Its concept was devised by Megami Device producer Toriwo Toriyama, its mechanical armour by Task, and its character design by Parsley. The model’s identity is based on the contrast between a feminine silhouette inspired by a blazer-style uniform and multi-layered armour reminiscent of a heavily armoured knight.
Like other Megami Device figures, BUSTER DOLL PALADIN is primarily designed as a customisation base. Its 3 mm connectors, interchangeable parts and two main configurations allow collectors to modify its appearance, weaponry and equipment by combining elements from numerous other Kotobukiya ranges.
