Character background and lore
Betsy Braddock, known by the codename Psylocke, has one of the most fascinating and complex backstories of any mutant in the Marvel Universe. A mutant with powerful telepathic and telekinetic abilities, she is capable of manifesting her mental energy in the form of a blade or a psychic halo, often depicted as an iconic psionic butterfly. Her strength of mind and agility make her one of the pillars of the X-Men.
This figure is inspired by a pivotal period in her history, following the X-Men’s relocation to the Australian Outback. To face growing and violent threats, the warrior decides to swap her classic costume for a much more protective combat armour. This stylistic and tactical shift precedes her historic journey through the Perilous Seat, a mystical artefact that will forever alter her destiny and physical appearance.
