MAGIC THE GATHERING - POP Games N° 1326 - Ajani

Magic: The Gathering — POP! Games No. 1326 Ajani

Enhance your Magic: The Gathering collection with this POP! Games No. 1326 figurine dedicated to Ajani Goldenmane. Designed by Funko, it depicts the mighty lion-warrior in a combat pose, armed with his great axe and ready to protect his allies across the Multiverse.

Ajani is instantly recognisable by his imposing white lion’s head, his thick mane and the dark markings across his face. His right eye is a bright turquoise colour, whilst his closed left eye is marked by a long red scar. His open mouth reveals his fangs and gives the figure a particularly dynamic, determined expression.

The character wears a warrior’s outfit combining turquoise fabrics, brown armour pieces and golden ornaments. Straps encircle his torso, forearms and legs, whilst a colourful piece of fabric hangs down in front of his waist. The various sculpted textures evoke leather, fabric and the Leonin’s natural fur.

Ajani holds a large double-edged axe in his left hand. Its grey blade is curved and features engraved patterns, whilst its brown handle resembles wood or wrapped leather. His open right hand and forward-stepping leg reinforce the impression that he is advancing towards his opponent or preparing to cast a protective spell.

Made from PVC, the figurine embodies the distinctive style of Funko’s creations whilst retaining the Planeswalker’s key visual attributes. It comes in an illustrated window box bearing the Magic: The Gathering logo and the number 1326, suitable for display with or without its packaging.

Character background and lore

Ajani Goldenmane is a Leonin from Naya, one of the fragments of the plane of Alara. Born with entirely white fur, he was long regarded as an outsider by his people. He nevertheless found his place alongside his brother Jazal, a respected leader whose death ignited Ajani’s Planeswalker spark.

Initially driven by anger and a desire for vengeance, Ajani gradually learns to use his powers to defend others. His abilities are primarily focused on healing, protecting and strengthening his allies. Wizards of the Coast describes him as a noble and compassionate hero, dedicated to protecting the weak and fighting oppression.

During his travels across the Multiverse, Ajani forms bonds with many other Planeswalkers, including Elspeth Tirel. Their friendship plays a central role in his story, particularly during their adventures on Theros and their confrontation with Xenagos, who has become a god.

Ajani is primarily associated with white magic, which symbolises order, community and protection. Some of his incarnations also utilise red or green magic, reflecting his anger, his warrior’s instinct and his connection to nature. In the card game, his abilities frequently restore life total, strengthen creatures or grant positive counters.

His axe, imposing stature and feline appearance make him a particularly formidable fighter, but his true strength lies in his loyalty and his willingness to support his companions. This POP! captures this duality by depicting Ajani both as a warrior baring his fangs and as a protector stepping forward to face danger.
