Origin and universe of the character
Created by Wizards of the Coast for the famous collectible card game Magic: The Gathering, Yawgmoth (often translated as Yaugzebul in French) is one of the oldest, most terrifying and influential antagonists in the franchise’s lore. Originally a brilliant but cruel human physician from the Thran Empire, he went into exile on a mechanical plane to become the God-Father and absolute ruler of Phyrexia, a nightmarish biomechanical civilisation dedicated to the corruption of all organic life. A master manipulator and master of decay, his legacy of terror spans thousands of years of the game’s history. This Funko Pop! figurine pays a memorable tribute to the dark design of this mythical, malevolent entity, making it a must-have for all duelists and fans of the Dominaria universe.
