LILO & STITCH EXPERIMENTS - POP Deluxe N° 1831 - Slushy

LILO & STITCH – Slushy – POP! Deluxe No. 1831 – Experiments

Meet Slushy, Experiment 523, with this Funko POP! Deluxe No. 1831 figure from the Lilo & Stitch Experiments collection. This edition features the little icy creature inside a transparent containment capsule, transforming the classic figurine into a miniature diorama dedicated to the genetic experiments created by Jumba Jookiba. Funko officially presents Slushy as one of Stitch’s ‘cousins’ to collect as part of this range.

Slushy is depicted with his characteristic appearance: an icy-blue body, small legs, a large blue-green nose and the three ice-cube-shaped protuberances on the back of his head. The character is housed inside a large transparent bell jar mounted on a high-tech base, reminiscent of the devices used to store Jumba’s experiments before they were activated.

Origin and character lore

Slushy, also known as Experiment 523, is one of the genetic experiments created by Jumba Jookiba. His original function is to produce ice and snow: he can cool his surroundings, freeze objects and generate phenomena ranging from simple icy sprays to full-blown snowstorms. He appears notably in *Lilo & Stitch: The Series*, where his powers manage to transform Kauai’s tropical climate into a wintry landscape.

After being captured and then rehabilitated by Lilo and Stitch, Slushy finally finds his ‘one true place’ by using his abilities in a positive way to make shave ice, a particularly popular frozen treat in Hawaii. He then works alongside Dupe, Experiment 344. This POP! Deluxe figure returns to the character’s origins by depicting him still trapped inside his containment capsule, before he finds his place amongst Stitch’s other cousins.
