Origin and background of the collection (Lore)

LEGO minifigures are one of the brand’s most recognisable symbols. Since their introduction in the late 1970s, they have featured in a wide range of themes, from cityscapes to space, fantasy, film licences and futuristic worlds.

Alien characters feature regularly in LEGO ranges linked to space and science fiction. Their design allows the brand to explore more original shapes, colours and accessories whilst retaining the characteristic proportions of the minifigures.

This LEGO Alien reading lamp thus translates the aesthetic of a space-themed character into a functional accessory, combining the imagination of cosmic exploration with flexible lighting for everyday use.
