Origin and world of the character (Lore)
In the Runeterra fantasy universe developed by Riot Games, Akali is the rebel assassin known as the Trigger Ace, having left the Kinkou ninja order to act alone. This specific figure corresponds to the alternative musical universe launched in 2018, where Akali is reinvented as the lead rapper and street-artist of the virtual K-pop group K/DA. Her vocal and visual performance, particularly during her memorable scenes using fluorescent paint under black light, greatly contributed to the group's worldwide success with gamers and the music community.
